Caffrey, Raymond

Son of Mr. & Mrs. Earl Caffrey. He joined the Marine Corp during World War II and was killed on May 15, 1945 at Okinawa. He is buried at Pinelawn National Cemetery. At the time of his death he was survived by his parents and two brothers, Jacque and Buddy (Earl Jr.).

Caffrey Avenue is named after Raymond.

A bronze WWII Memorial Plaque is located at the flagpole in front of St. Paul's Lutheran Church to honor Raymond Caffrey and Robert L. Damm.
