Keep It New and Fresh

In this world
Never let me take for granted
the feelings of
newness and awe.
When the suns comes up
and a new day begins
Let it be an uplifting
and grateful surprise.
The moon in the evening sky,
always a thrill.
The starts overhead
a true wonder.
Raindrops sliding down
the window pain -
simple and relaxing.
Snowflakes silently falling
make my world a wonderland.
The birds that sing "for me"
in spring
and the world comes alive -
Always a new experience.
The first cup of coffee in the AM
is a comforting moment.
Each day of simple things,
let them always remain a surprise.
Tho' I've experienced these
time after time
Each remain fresh in my life,
As days and seasons
recycle along my journey.
Hopefully I will be aware and appreciate
all that surrounds me.
Family, friends, His caring and oh, so much more!

"Tis a wonderous world!"
