LoFaso, Anthony

A resident of Bethpage for 55 years. Married to Angelina. Children: Angel, Christine, Anthony, James, and Richard. A lifelong engineer, he earned a Bachelors Degree in Aeronautical Engineering and a Masters in Mechanical Engineering, both from NYU. He was employed by Sperry Gyroscope for 35 years, retiring as director of programs. He served in the Army Air Corps from 1942 to 1945, honorably discharged with the rank of staff sergeant. A lifelong believer in education, he served for 28 years on the Bethpage Board of Education, 12 as president. Anthony passed away on July 3, 2011.
