Albertson, John

John was born in 1962 and grew up on Concord Avenue with his two brothers, Robert and Kurt. Son of Bob and Ann. John attended SMT School and church, Bethpage High School, then went on to graduate N. Y. Institute of Technology with his major in communications. He played PBC ball, Panthers Football, particpated in Memorial Day Parades, and the library, just down the street, provided great programs for the children with great children libriarians.
John co-produced and filmed "The Legacy of Yankee Stadium", hosted by Greg Cergol, a WNBC special which aired March 22, 2008. On April 20, 2008 he also had the privilege to be a part of the WNBC news team that covered Pope Benedict when he came to NYC,
"The Legacy of Yankee Stadium" was awarded, on June 24, 2008, The New York State Broadcasters Association "Best Documentary."
