Friends of the Bethpage Methodist Cemetery

Sunday, March 13, 2005, a group of concerned residents met to discuss the need for restoring the Bethpage Methodist Cemetery. This historic, sacred burial ground which was established in 1835 has become very over grown and needs a good clean up. The cemetery is nonsectarian, located on Route 107 and Central Avenue on one acre of land. People from all walks of life are buried there, and contributed to the development of our community. Now it is up to us to maintain this area and give it the dignity it deserves.
