Farmingdale-Bethpage Historical Society

The FBHS serves the geographic area which once comprised the Bethpage Purchase. Today it includes the communities of Bethpage, Farmingdale, Melville, North Massapequa, Old Bethpage, Plainedge and Plainview.

Founded - April 12, 1964, and Charted by the University of the State of New York.

Purpose - To encourage and develop the historical appreciation by promoting the study of Long Islands past. To collect papers and articles of historic value and to hold public meetings for discussions on topics of historical interest.
