The desire to bring good entertainment for all ages and interest is evident by the varied programming. Cablevision doesn't stop with their desire to entertain. They have a big investment in the youth of Long Island by providing free cable to schools K-12, scholarships, working with teachers, providing internet access to schools and libraries, also, hands on teacher and student workshops. The Long Island Challenge, and academic quiz, where schools around Long Island challenge each other in the areas of math, science, history, literature and Long Island History. An opportunity to win prizes for the school and student. Cablevision, due to its headquarters location, has an interest in the Bethpage Schools. A powerful investment in the future!
