Brothers Three Pool Supply

On Thursday, May 25, 1978, a general fire alarm was received by the Bethpage Fire Department for a structure fire involved in the building located at 4021 Hempstead Turnpike, Brothers Three Pool Supply. Result - Firefighters were treated at local hospitals and a mutual aid request was sent to neighboring fire departments. Sadly, it was notified that Captain Joseph Dunn and Firefighter Robert Hassett, both of Bethpage Engine Company Four, lost their lives battling the blaze.
