On December 6, 2020 the community of Bethpage, honored Mr. Buddy Rosch as he celebrated his 100th Birthday with a Patriotic Drive-By his home in Bethpage showing Bethpage Pride! Buddy, a Veteran, and represents the Greatest Generation with his participation in WWII B-24 Liberation Bomber Crew. The Drive-By was complete with Military Vehicles, Antique Fire Trucks, Police and Fire escorts, Car and Motorcycle Clubs, and a Bagpipe Band. Following the Drive-By, there were ceremonies to pay tribute to Buddy - the Pledge of Allegiance was led by Bethpage Boy and Girl Scouts, the National Anthem and Happy Birthday was song by Bud's granddaughter Elora, the WWII Veterans, in attendance with Bud, were given Letters of Recognition from the 2nd Congressional District Office, a Proclamation from the Nassau County Executive Offices and Letters of Appreciation from Honor Flight L. I.
