Albertson Family

The contributions of the Albertson Family to the Grumman Corporation spans three generations:
Eugen (Jerry) Albertson - employed by Grumman Aircraft 1941-1969. Worked on W.W.II pre-flight of F6F Hellcat in Plant #4.
Sons: Eugene (Gene) employed 1945-1989. Worked in Plant #2 on the Mohawk and S2F and finished his Grumman career in Stuart, Florida - Plant 77.
Robert, Sr. (Bob) employed 1954-1990 and worked most of his Grumman career in Plant #1 on the S2F, Gulfstream, F14, E2C. C2A.
Continuing the family tradition: Jeanne Albertson Hance and Edward children of Eugene Albertson, and Robert Jr, John, Kurt sons of Robert Sr. were employed by Grumman. Robert Jr. worked until Grumman downsized in 1993.
Ann Albertson was proud to be employed by the Bethpage Federal Credit Union formally Grumman Federal Credit Union.
