A philosopher, educator and author. He was born in Boston on November 2, 1910. Brennan is the author of several books including Thomas Mann's World, 1942, The Meaning of Philosophy, 1953, A Handbook of Logic, 1957, The Education of a Prejudiced Man, 1977, Foundations of Moral Obligation 1992. He was a founding trustee of the Levittown Public Library and a trustee of the Bethpage Public Library from 1956 to 1980.
