Born in parents home on Central Ave. in 1912. Never lived anywhere but Bethpage. Still living there with daughter (3rd generation Bethpage) on Barbara St. Possibly the oldest original resident of Bethpage as of this writing (July 2, 2001).
My grandmother, Gertrude Kranz, along with a few others sold potatoes and other farm produce to start the building of the Central Park Assembly of God Church in 1922 which is now the Bethpage Assembly of God Church.
My family had the Miller farm and we go back to the late 1800's in Bethpage.
